Georgina is the northernmost municipality in York Region, bounded along the top by Lake Simcoe. Like Vaughan, it is several places under one name: Keswick, Sutton, Jackson's Point and Pefferlaw are distinct communities, and which one you are in genuinely changes the drive.
The lake is the other thing that makes Georgina its own job. Properties near the shoreline take weather that inland towns do not, and salt and damp are hard on steel: cables corrode, rollers stiffen, springs give out earlier than the cycle count says they should.
