Check these before you call anyone
This is the one job on this site we would rather talk you out of paying for. Work down this list first. If it is still reversing, then it is ours.

Look at the two LEDs near the floor
One sending, one receiving. A steady light on both usually means they can see each other. A blinking or dead light on one is the whole fault, most of the time.

Clear the beam and wipe the lenses
A bin, a bike wheel, a coiled hose, or road salt on the lens. The beam is a few millimetres wide and it does not care what is in the way.

Nudge the brackets true
They are aimed at each other and they get knocked. Loosen the wing nut, line them up, watch the LED, tighten.
